This was a second attempt to take a successful primetime televisoin series and turn it into a Saturday morning cartoon.
In it, the Dukes, Daisy and her cousins, Coy and Vance in the first season, and then Bo and Luke in the second, were racnig Boss Hogg and his right hand guy Roscoe, to win the prize money, to pay the mortgage on their farm.
Everyweek Uncle Jesse who was back on the farm wuld get a letter or postcard from Daisy detailing the events that would take place in the episode.
